主要研究兴趣是探索基于生物可降解材料的新型可降解植入式器件。生物可降解电子技术是新兴的交叉学科方向,器件在行使完功能后在生物溶液环境中可完全降解消失,从而避免移除手术,对疾病的在体监测和治疗有着重要意义。近年来,在Nature Communications, Science Advances, PNAS, ACS Nano等领域内权威期刊上发表论文50余篇。应邀在Small, Bioactive Materials, MRS Bulletin等杂志上发表综述论文,并曾有多篇论文被选为亮点文章或封面文章。在MRS, ASME, IEEE, MRS OnDemand Webinar及中国生物材料学会等国内外重要会议及网络平台作邀请报告多次,并数次担任MRS国际会议的分会主席。受邀担任客座编辑组织MRS Bulletin, Advanced Materials Technologies等杂志特刊。应Wiley, Springer等出版社邀请著书3章,申请中国发明专利10余项。
